dc.description.abstractIn forming technology, four mathematical methods are applied as follows: 1) Manufacturing Steel Tubes according to the "Erhardt-Process", 2) Extrusion: Operating Demand and Force Requirements, 3) Extrusion of Copper Tubes, 4) Extrusion of Steel. With the invention of glass lubrication according to "Ugine-Sejournet", the extrusion of steel succeeded, a process also permitting economically efficient manufacturing of small quantities (batch sizes) of steel pipes.
