Remote and Hybrid Work Models: Exploring the Role of Integrating Neurodiverse Workforces in Corporate Structures with a Focus on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Anxiety Disorders
Bachelorarbeit

Abstract
The increasing adoption of remote and hybrid work models has transformed organizational structures and created new opportunities for workforce inclusion. This thesis examines how these work models can support the integration of neurodiverse individuals, specifically those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and anxiety disorders, within corporate environments. The study explores the concept of neurodiversity, its relevance in modern workplaces, and the unique strengths and challenges associated with neurodiverse employees.
Drawing on existing literature and theoretical frameworks, the research analyzes how traditional office environments may present barriers for neurodiverse individuals, including sensory overload, rigid schedules, and limited autonomy. In contrast, remote and hybrid work models offer increased flexibility, control over work environments, and improved opportunities for self-regulation, which can enhance productivity, well-being, and job satisfaction for neurodiverse employees.
The thesis also examines organizational strategies that can facilitate successful integration, such as inclusive management practices, flexible communication structures, and awareness of neurodiversity within corporate culture. The findings suggest that companies adopting inclusive remote and hybrid work policies can benefit from accessing an underutilized talent pool while fostering innovation, creativity, and diverse perspectives.
Ultimately, the study argues that embracing neurodiversity through adaptable work structures is both a social responsibility and a strategic advantage for organizations seeking sustainable and inclusive growth.
